Lightweight, cost-effective fire-partitioning solution for industrial and commercial buildings

In the event of fire, Ruukki® Firewall System prevents the spread of fire to other parts in a building, or to next building. Together with load-bearing frame, the system forms a fire-partitioning and impact-resistant wall structure for both partition and external wall applications.

The solution is designed for buildings where strong fire-partitioning are required, when buildings are located very closely to each other, and for buildings with a high fire load, e.g. stocks of combustible materials - such as industrial, manufacturing and logistics buildings.We have designed this product to be be light weight and quick to install, and therefore it is a cost-effective solution compared to conventional rather heavy construction practices currently on the market. It has a single-layer panel structure with reinforced joint structures. Ruukki Firewall is suitable for use in all frame structures materials, like steel, concrete or wood. The fireproof panel joint arrangement is patented.

Ruukki® Firewall thickness options

Ruukki® Firewall panels are available in two thicknesses: 200 mm and 230 mm. The system fulfills requirements EI-M 90 up to 7,5 m span and EI-M 120 up to 6 m span. Requirements and regulations for use of EI-M rated firewalls may vary between countries. System performance can be verified using classification report available from your sales representative.
