Ruukki® Arc – Locally produced sandwich panels for the demanding environments of the Nordics
With our extensive experience in manufacturing sandwich panels with a PIR core, Ruukki is proud to introduce Ruukki® Arc. Sandwich panels designed to create sustainable buildings for the demanding environments of the Nordics.
New factory in Borlänge
Our new production line for PIR panels in Borlänge is being built within SSAB's facility and is one of the largest investments in Ruukki Construction's history. The aim is to offer our Nordic customers a product range tailored to the Nordic region with locally produced PIR panels. By bringing production closer to our customers, we reduce transport distances and carbon emissions, contributing to sustainable construction.
Customer deliveries from the new factory will start during 2025.
Energy-efficient buildings
Ruukki® Arc's PIR panels stand out for their high thermal performance, allowing for the construction of thinner walls without compromising insulation capabilities. This is particularly advantageous in demanding environments such as food production, cold and freezer rooms, as well as warehouse and logistics halls, where space efficiency and energy savings are crucial.
Our state-of-the-art, 270-meter-long production line in Borlänge enables more efficient use of building materials and contributes to reduced carbon emissions. The dense cell structure of the panel's core preserves its insulation properties over time, resulting in a durable product that withstands external influences.
