The facility features a 25 m long and 16 m wide swimming pool, as well as a smaller pool dedicated to swimming lessons. A separate entrance leads to a sauna complex covering more than 400 m², complete with a relaxation area and a salt wall.

The building’s façade is clad with Ruukki Liberta COR-TEN 600 rainscreen panels. This weather-resistant material has been combined with large glazed surfaces and metal structures, creating a modern and architecturally striking sports facility. The building blends perfectly into the surrounding green areas, which, like the swimming pool itself, encourage recreation and leisure activities.

In line with the project’s objectives, the swimming pool is friendly and accessible to everyone thanks to numerous amenities designed for people with disabilities. For the city, which owns the building, environmental aspects played an important role. The facility is equipped with a rainwater collection tank, photovoltaic panels, and a modern water recovery system.

At the same time, COR-TEN® steel not only provides a distinctive visual effect but also supports the principles of sustainable construction. Thanks to the protective patina that forms on its surface, the steel ages in a unique way and requires no maintenance. In addition, COR-TEN® steel is 100% recyclable.
