Schaeffler's plant in Szombathely, Hungary

The brandnew plant was opened in 2021 in Szombathely. The sustainable production of electric motor components and systems takes place on 15,000 m2. The plant also functions as an e-mobility research and development center.

Approaching the entrance of the building complex from the car-park, you can feel that something special, forward-looking, is happening inside.

In the middle of glasswall there is a blade wall built from Ruukki Liberta Elegant 500 Grande elements, which asymmetrically encloses the revolving door. The white wall, built mostly from 2000x1000mm elements, cover the two side entrances on the ground floor, but also functions as a barrier for the upstairs terrace. It is also special that, unlike usual, the elements are arranged in brickwork.
