Jõgeva State House, Estonia

The architect involved in the renovation of the building originally envisioned an aluminium façade. However, during the works, the client and the contractor decided on Liberta steel panels, which seemed the more suitable choice. The rainscreen panels were used on the exterior of the original building as well as on the new building. Ruukki supplied approximately 750 m2 of HIARC coated Liberta Original 102 panels to the site, together with a battens and standard flashings.

The Jõgeva administrative buildings is a former county government building, which was opened in 1968 and was designed by Johannes Fuks. During the construction works, the pitched roof of the existing main building was demolished during later extensions, thus restoring the building to its original modernist appearance. A new extension was also built. The state offices of Jõgeva, previously located at five different addresses, were all concentrated in the building at Suur Street 3.
