The Kaštanová Center in Brno is a place for everyone who is looking for inspiration in the area of ​​housing. There is never enough of that, so the demand for a new building arose. This new object serves as a storage hall with an administrative part and a separate two-floor showroom. "Our intention was to put a building that will stand out in this area, present and at the same time soften the composition of the adjacent buildings. We achieved this by rounding the floor plan in all corners. The largest radius is on the corner section, which is generously glazed on the ground floor. The entire second floor is hidden in the silver shell of the perforated facade, which softens and lightens the entire building," describes the design architect Tereza Ježková from the nolimits studio.

From the beginning, great emphasis was placed on quality and cooperation. Ruukki has been a founding partner of the Kaštanová Living and Design Center project since 2015 and has a permanent exhibition for its customers there. "Ruukki participated in the creation of the facades of most of the buildings in the Center, and thus logically the connection arose also during the creation of the new building E. Our effort is to use materials from the Center long-term partners as much as possible," says investor Radek Černý, from of the Keraservis company.
