The building's architect wanted to use a durable and low-maintenance steel profile for the store's exterior finish. The embossed surface on the large façade areas ensures a softer and more attractive appearance when viewed up close.
The large building is segmented into smaller volumes with windows to enhance human scale. The architect who designed the building considers human scale important in their work and applies it in both urban planning and in the design of large buildings.
The biggest challenge for the architect was ensuring a uniform appearance at the exterior corners when using the design profile on the façade.
In this building we have used GreenCoat® - A Nordic quality sustainable steel from SSAB.
