Commercial premises in Sweden

A building with a golden color and windows in the southern end that make the commercial building stand out has just been completed in Eskilstuna in Sweden. The building has a floor area of just under 1,000 square meters and is home to five companies and also contains a residential suite. The building is owned by property investment company Frost - Fastighets & Markentrepenad.

Ruukki supplied the sandwich panels used in the building walls. Architect Elin Pantzare chose gold as the color, which she thinks has given the building an almost glossy appearance that is gentle on the eye.

“Ruukki’s panels were chosen because of the environmental aspect. Energy efficiency was one of the main criteria of the building. The color adds a kind of dignity and people pay attention to the building. We have received positive comments even now, before the building is really brought into use,” says Elin Pantzare.
