Apartment building Zelena Lipa in Dolny Kubin, Slovakia
The name Zelená Lipa draws inspiration not only from history, but also from the ecological elements that the project contains. These include a green roof, a green inner block, rainwater drains, infrastructure for electromobility, professional planting of new trees and revitalization of the surrounding land as well as Design profiles with GreenCoat color coated steel used for the building's facade.

At first glance, the brick facade in combination with Ruukki Design Rome S34 perforated design profiles in anthracite-gray color catches your eye. Design profiles create a regular structured surface on the facade, which can be matched to meet the architectural requirements.
The investor was very satisfied with the result: "Ruukki kept the planned deadlines and the material was of the expected, top quality. We also appreciate the care of the client after completion, when all questions were promptly answered."
The apartment building Zelená Lipa represents community living in the heart of Orava nature with an emphasis on architectural taste. Today, it would be hard for anyone to believe that the building was created by the reconstruction of an old hotel.
The building is nominated for the Slovak Award for Architecture - CE ZA AR 2024.
In this building we have used GreenCoat® - A Nordic quality sustainable steel from SSAB.
