Ruukki Construction continues to implement its growth strategy and invests approximately EUR four million in a new rainwater systems production line at its Zyrardow plant in Poland. The investment aims to improve customer service of roofing products by expanding the product range, streamlining production and improving occupational safety. The production of rainwater systems on the highly automated production line is scheduled to begin by the end of 2022. 

Ruukki's target is to supply complete roofing packages for its customers, which, in addition to roof sheets, include all the parts needed in the roof, such as rainwater systems, roof safety products and flashings. Ruukki’s selection of rainwater system products includes e.g. gutters, downpipes and brackets.

The design of the new rainwater systems to be manufactured at the Zyrardow plant is ideal both for new and refurbished buildings. The investment will improve customer service, especially in Poland, the Czech Republic and Slovakia, as delivery times for rainwater systems will be accelerated cost-effectively. In addition, the systems can be better tailored to meet the customer needs in the future.

Ruukki's Zyrardow plant in Poland provides steel roofing products and services for customers in the Central East Europe. It is located about 50 km southwest of Warsaw and employs about 100 people.
