Esko Harila, M.Sc.(Tech.) has been appointed CFO (Finance, IT and Strategy) and member of the management team from August 1, 2021, reporting to CEO Sami Eronen. Maritta Kemiläinen, Ruukki Construction’s current CFO, has decided to leave the company for personal reasons later this autumn.

Esko has a broad range of experience of working in international financial and strategy management tasks, first at Rautaruukki in the early stage of his career and later at Fortaco, Valmet Automotive and Futurice, where his most recent position was CFO.

I’m convinced that he has the expertise to both support and execute Ruukki’s growth strategy and to take our performance to the next level. At the same time I would like to thank Maritta for her valuable contribution through the years and particularly note her work during the latest strategy period.” says CEO Sami Eronen.
