Ruukki Construction, part of SSAB and a leading provider of sustainable, steel-based building products, has appointed Pasi Turpeenniemi as Director, Products and Services, effective 3 June 2025. In this new role, Pasi will be responsible for the strategic development and direction of Ruukki’s product and service portfolio and company-level R&D, working closely with all business units. He will join Ruukki Construction’s extended Leadership Team and report to CEO Sami Eronen.

Pasi brings over two decades of experience in the steel and construction industries, with strong expertise in product management, marketing, business development and digitalization. Since 2023, he has served as Director, Products, Services and Marketing in Ruukki Construction’s Building Envelopes Business Unit, where he has played a key role in strengthening Ruukki’s offering, driving sustainability initiatives and supporting customer-centric innovations.

Earlier in his career, Pasi held several leadership roles at Ruukki Construction, covering product portfolio management, R&D, and business operations. His broad background combines a strategic mindset with hands-on experience in developing customer-oriented solutions.
