Ruukki was a major player in Volvo Trucks’ important investment to Finland. Sustainable development and energy efficiency hold important positions in Volvo’s strategy, and all new premises are certified to comply with LEED Silver V.4. This building is the first industrial project in the Nordic countries that complies with the latest LEED Silver version. Ruukki’s package consisted of SPA E LIFE exterior wall panels and related steel frames. LIFE panel with its recyclable glass wool core played a role in the selection of the supplier. The building encompasses 15,400 m² in total.
