There is a story behind the family house in Havlíčkův Brod, which is called the Heart House due to its floor plan.

The architect had a free hand the client gave her their full confidence. The whole project from design through construction works to occupancy thus took 5 years. But the result was worth it and the owners were thrilled.

The house stands on a beautiful plot near the forest and the materials and colours used harmonize with the surrounding nature. "In order to support the graceful curves of the building, a rusty cladding with a very fine wave was chosen for the facade," says the author of the project, the architect Daniela Polubědovová.
