Archival warehouse, National Széchény Library, Hungary

An exciting and special building was designed and built in Piliscsaba. The task of the building is the long-term preservation of books , publications as well as the digital objects of the national library.

Copper is main material on the facade of the facility, which represents high technical quality, as a durable building material.

The cassette cladding on the two end facades was manufactured by Ruukki.

At the main entrance in front of the curtain wall, unique, laser-cut perforated cassettes have been placed, which imitate the grain of wood leaves. Normal Liberta Elegant 500 trays, also made of this noble material, were installed on the same facade as well as on the opposite facade.

In both cases, the support structure is EuroFox (Hilti).
