Mitsui High-Tec factory in Skarbimierz, Poland

Ruukki delivered sandwich panels and Ruukki® Forma wall system for the construction of Mitsui High-Tec plant in Skarbimierz, Poland. The site consists of a production hall and an office building, which together occupy around 10 000 m2.

Mitsui High-tec is a Japanese company specializing in the production of precision tools and automotive components. The company is active all over the world, and in Europe it has three locations – in Germany, Italy and Poland. The first and so far only European production facilities are located in Skarbimierz, in south-west Poland.

Sandwich panels SP2B E-PIR were used to build a lightweight envelope of a production hall, where components for electric and hybrid cars are manufactured. For the office walls and a guard house Ruukki delivered energy-efficient sandwich panels SPB W Energy. A facade of the office building was made in Ruukki Forma wall system composed of Liberta elegant 102 and 102 Grande rainscreen panels.

Takenaka Europe GmbH was responsible for the design and construction. All works were completed in April 2020.
