New visualization tool for Ruukki sandwich panels

Have you ever wondered what a building would look like in a certain color or with a certain façade profile? Your wait is over! With our brand new visualization tool, you can easily see how the color and profiling options and installation directions of sandwich panels affect the appearance of the building.

Ruukki launches a new visualization tool on its website to help architects and designers find the best solution for the exterior walls of buildings. In the interactive tool, you can test the effect of different color and profiling options and installation directions on the façade.

"The visualization tool makes brainstorming easier. The tool makes it easy to see what the façade of a building looks like with different color and profile options. There are both close-ups showing the joint details of the different options and overall images from which you can assess the architectural impression of the choices," says Mika Autio, Online Manager at Ruukki Construction.

A similar tool was already available earlier for façade cladding and roofing products

Comprehensive range of wall elements for many needs

Sandwich panels are typically used as a lightweight building envelope in industrial halls such as manufacturing facilities, warehouses, logistics and distribution centers, and shopping malls. Ruukki's wide range of durable and energy-efficient wall solutions ensures efficient and fast installation in projects of all sizes.

We manufacture sandwich panels in Alajärvi, Finland and Oborniki, Poland, and later this year we will also start sandwich panel production in Borlänge, Sweden. The sandwich panels made in Alajärvi have a mineral wool core, those made in Oborniki have either a mineral wool or PIR core, and in Borlänge we start manufacturing sandwich panels with a PIR core. Different insulation options ensure the best possible end result for customers' different end uses.

"We offer a wide range of high-quality and energy-efficient sandwich panels not only with different color and profiling options, but also as low-carbon Ruukki® LowCarbon products made of recycled SSAB Zero™ steel. Our local sales team will be happy to help you find the best solution," says Pasi Turpeenniemi, Director, Marketing & Products and Services, Building Envelopes
