Ruukki will participate in Nordbygg 2026, one of the leading construction and real estate industry events in Northern Europe, held in Stockholm, Sweden, showcasing innovative acoustic solutions and new design possibilities. Highlights include the recently launched Ruukki® Sono wall element for interior walls, developed to enhance acoustic comfort in industrial and office buildings, as well as two new, unique surface patterns for sandwich panels.

Launched in fall 2025, Ruukki® Sono is an example of how Ruukki turns customer needs into smart building solutions. High performance and safety, combined with easy installation, make it an attractive choice for architects and construction companies aiming to enhance indoor acoustics in industrial and office environments.

The Ruukki® Sono element features a steel outer layer and can be used in both new construction and renovation projects. It can be installed either horizontally or vertically.

In connection with the exhibition, Ruukki will also introduce two new surface patterns for sandwich panels, offering entirely new design possibilities. These will be available on the market in fall 2026.

Ruukki’s stand at Nordbygg will be located at Plåttorget, a central meeting place for sheet metal industry professionals organized by Svensk Byggplåt. Key themes include sustainability and the future of building with steel.
