Ruukki Classic® LowCarbon combines the design and proven quality of Ruukki Classic with a lower carbon footprint. The product more than halves embodied carbon compared to the standard product.

The lower embodied carbon is achieved through material choices and energy- and resource-efficient manufacturing. Ruukki Classic LowCarbon is made using recycled-based SSAB Zero™ steel. We continuously work to reduce emissions throughout our operations by improving energy and resource efficiency, using lower-emission raw materials and energy sources, and reducing emissions from packaging and logistics. We have systematically tracked and reduced emissions since 2020. Ruukki Construction’s operations are certified according to ISO 9001, ISO 14001 and ISO 45001.
