Ruukki projects recognized in the Czech Architecture Awards once again

Each year, we follow the Czech Architecture Awards with great interest. This year’s nomination announcement again brought great news for Ruukki.

Several projects featuring Ruukki solutions were recognized among this year’s nominated buildings. They include Ello Hall on Kaštanová Street, two newly built family homes, the fire station in Bílovice nad Svitavou, the Energy Hall in Mníšek, and the Cultural Center in Kralupy nad Vltavou.

We are especially proud that the Cultural Center in Kralupy nad Vltavou has been shortlisted and remains in contention for the overall Czech Architecture Award. The project transformed a former brewery through a sensitive renovation that carefully combines historic architecture with contemporary design. The international jury recognized the project for its respectful treatment of the original building and the high-quality architectural design.

These projects demonstrate that Ruukki solutions are chosen for buildings where architectural quality, smart engineering, and skilled craftsmanship come together. Once again, they show that Ruukki contributes to projects that help shape contemporary Czech architecture.

Behind every successful project are the dedicated efforts of many colleagues — from manufacturing and sales to technical support. We’re proud that our work contributes to buildings recognized among the country’s finest architectural achievements.
