TrayPan is a cloud-based app that is especially targeted at structural and facade designers. It has a modern and user-friendly interface that allows walls to be designed using Ruukki’s sandwich panels. Ruukki is committed to updating all its design applications and TrayPan is the first in line. Later this year Poimu, an app for load-bearing sheets, will also be updated to meet today’s criteria. Ruukki’s goal is to create a modern design tool family that supports and eases designers in their work.
Compared to the old TrayPan, a modern, dynamic interface makes the new app even more user-friendly. Now all relevant information is displayed on one screen, which means that users do not need to open separate windows to get the information they need. It is also easy to copy and adapt both the content of the projects and the structural elements. Projects can easily be shared with other users, which eliminates the need for sending calculations by email. From a project management point of view, the new sharing functionality also makes it easy during the holiday season when colleagues need a substitute
Because Traypan is a cloud-based application, there is no need to install it on users’ computers. Cloud-based software means that data and portfolios are up to date at all times. Whenever a new product, panel or feature is added by Ruukki, it will immediately appear in the user’s interface. This cloud-based service enables entire teams to participate in design work.
The new TrayPan is developed in close cooperation between Ruukki’s Research & Development and Sales teams.
