Kaluga ski slope

In the Kvan alpine skiing centre, near Kaluga, a ski slope was elevated with a steel framework by Ruukki.

Ruukki delivered the design and construction of an artificial slope that merges smoothly into natural slope downstream. The artificial elevation is 20 metres high and there are plans to build a restaurant, hotel and some office buildings underneath the construction.
