The top-class properties of Ruukki® Patina panels bring elegance and timelessness to the Clas Ohlson store in Vaasa. We delivered new patina panels to the facade of this approximately 1,500 m² building.

"Ruukki® Patina's Cor-ten steel surface is a new and quite exceptional facade material. We had an idea of how it looks in small-scale use, but it was a new experience to see it on such a large surface. The façade material has met our expectations. The surface is lively and stylish, and it changes even over time. It arouses opinions, which is why we like it. It allows us to stand out from the mass of commercial real estates. The advantages of the product are the maintenance-free coating and long service life. We also appreciate the earthy and natural surface and coloring,” tells Jukka Airaksinen from Airaksinen Invest Oy about why they chose Ruukki® Patina for this project. “We ended up with Cor-Ten® coating mainly because we already had some experience with it as a facade material. Also because our architect Sami Rintamäki (Architect company Rintamäki Viljanen) suggested this new material, we dared to try it. So far, the choice has proven to be good and the result is very successful”, he continues.
