DB Schenker's Nurmijärvi Distribution Center

The BREEAM standard level Very Good requires ecological and environmentally friendly solutions, which the SPA 230 E Life Sandwich panel represents. The colors RR750, RR20, RR23 and RR11 are designed to support the DB Schenker brand in an impressive way.

The new 25,600 m2 size Nurmijärvi Distribution Center - NDC - began to operate at the beginning of June 2023. On the adjacent plot, a DB Schenker warehouse of almost the same size, opererates in storing chemicals. These two warehouses form a contract logistics center of approximately 50,000 square meters. With the new facilities, DB Schenker will be able to respond to the continuous growth in demand for storage services.

In the planning and implementation of the warehouse, special attention was paid to sustainable development and responsibility. The warehouse is designed according to the international BREEAM standard Very Good. The standard requires ecological and environmentally friendly solutions, which the SPA 230 E Life Sandwich panel represents. The colors of the panels RR750, RR20, RR23 and RR11 are designed to support the DB Schenker brand in an impressive way.

In this building we have used GreenCoat® - A Nordic quality sustainable steel from SSAB.
