Raex wear-resistant steel has been tested in extremely demanding conditions requiring high strength and excellent abrasion resistance. Raex (hardness 400-500 HBW) is a hardened steel particularly suited for long-term use in abrasive environments with high surface pressure.
Ruukki is the only supplier of ultra thin Raex wear-resistant steels from a thickness of 2.5 mm up to a hardness level of 500 HBW.
