Wear-resistant steels

TipperbodyRaex wear-resistant steel has been tested in extremely demanding conditions requiring high strength and excellent abrasion resistance. Raex (hardness 400-500 HBW) is a hardened steel particularly suited for long-term use in abrasive environments with high surface pressure.

Ruukki is the only supplier of ultra thin Raex wear-resistant steels from a thickness of 2.5 mm up to a hardness level of 500 HBW.

Our customers value the good cutting, bending and welding properties of Raex, which makes workshop treatment easier and processing more efficient. Raex is available also as ready-to-weld parts, which speeds up your production and makes it easier than ever.
