Standard structural steels

The production programme of Ruukki's Raahe Steel Works comprises structural steels according to standard EN 10025. Ruukki has been authorised to use the CE marking in connection with structural steels according to Parts 2, 3, 4 and 5 of the standard and Part 6 in respect of steel grade S690QL. The marking is notified of in a supplement to the inspection document. Our product range comprises both cut lengths and heavy plates. The widest range is in heavy plates. The quenched and tempered steel grade S690QL EN 10028-6 is only manufactured as heavy plates.

High yield strength standard EN 10149-2 steels for cold forming

Steels according to standard EN 10149-2 "Hot-rolled flat products made of high yield strength steels for cold forming" are delivered as thermomechanical rolled. The standard comprises both cut lengths and heavy plates. Ruukki's steel grade range is widest in cut lengths.

Standard steels for pressure purposes

The quality system of Ruukki's Raahe Steel Works has been certified according to both the Pressure Equipment Directive (PED) and the German national technical requirements (TÜV). Our production programme comprises steels for pressure purposes according to Parts 2, 3, 4 and 5 of standard EN 10028. In addition, we manufacture steels for pressure purposes according to other international standards, such as the American ASME SA / ASTM A system. For EN steels for pressure purposes, Ruukki provides an inspection document with the following marking: EN 10204:2004-3.1/PED 97/23/EC. We deliver steels for pressure purposes as both cut lengths and heavy plates. The widest range is in heavy plates.
