Hardenable boron steel grades are intended to be hardened through heat treatment. The mechanical properties of hardened boron steel make it extremely resistant to abrasive wear.

Structural steel Optim MC’s extra-high-strength steel grades offer excellent bendability, weldability and cutting properties. Typical applications include frames of commercial vehicles, crane arms and other lifting equipment.

 
Optim QC 

Optim QC structural steels

  • Yield strength: 900-1100 MPa
  • Thickness 2.5-8 mm
 
The Optim QC family of ultra-high-strength steels offers strength, wear resistance and good workshop properties. Typical applications include chassis and bodywork for commercial vehicles, booms for forest machinery and crane arms.

Optim 500 ML structural steels

Optim 500 ML structural steel is easy to weld, bend and process in workshops and on site. High strength and good flangeability enable structures made from thinner steel plates.

Optim 550 W weather resistant structural steels
