Cold-rolled steels

Ruukki's extensive product range in cold-rolled steel grades consists of formable and high-strength formable steels, weather-resistant steels and boron steels.

We produce cold-rolled steels in the 0.40-3.0 mm thickness range and our area of expertise is in materials for challenging forming applications.

Our cold-rolled steels lay a solid basis for metal and colour coated products, precision tubes and sections, as well as for parts and components made of these.

On the product pages listed below, you will find information about each steel grade's dimensions, tolerances, mechanical properties, chemical composition, tolerances and processing instructions.

Formable steels

Formable steels

  • Steel grades: DC01-DC06
  • Surface quality: A or B (sheets)
  • Surface finish: normal
  • Thickness: 0.40-3.00 mm

Cold-rolled formable steels for applications where good and constant forming properties are essential.

High strength formable steels

High-strength formable steels

  • Steel grades: HC260LA-HC420LA
  • Surface quality: A
  • Surface finish: normal
  • Thickness: 0.40-3.00 mm

Guaranteed strength properties combined with good formability enable light and rigid structures with freedom in design.

Cold-rolled Boron steel 22Mnb5

Boron steel 22MnB5

  • Yield strength: min. 200 MPa as supplied
  • Surface finish: normal
  • Thickness: 0.65-3.00 mm

The cold-rolled boron steel 22MnB5 is suitable for products requiring good formability in delivery state and high strength as a final product.

Boron steels B24CR and B27CR

Boron steels B 24 CR and B 27 CR

  • Yield strength: min. 200 MPa as supplied
  • Surface finish: normal
  • Thickness: 0.65-3.00 mm

The cold-rolled boron steels B 24 CR and B 27 CR are suitable for products with high requirements of strength and wear resistance.

Cold-rolled COR-TEN

COR-TEN A

  • Yield strength: min. 310 MPa
  • Surface quality: A
  • Thickness: 0.50-3.00 mm

COR-TEN is a cold-rolled weather-resistant steel that protects itself. Typical applications include external claddings, containers and transportation tanks.
