Fast delivery from stock
Ruukki’s service centres deliver products to customers in smaller lots than ex works. This means faster delivery. In addition, service centres can also store products included in the stock programme.

We have service centres in Finland, Sweden, Poland and Russia which support each other across national borders. In addition, Ruukki has a number of product stocks and smaller service units across Europe and in China.
Prefabrication services based on customer needs
Customers using Ruukki’s prefabrication services do not need to invest in cutting machines or worry about storing raw material. This frees up capital and facilities to allow customers to focus on their core business.
Machining
Through our subcontractor network we offer demanding machining for products across a comprehensive size range. A machined product is ready for assembly without any additional work phases. This shortens customer lead times because there are fewer phases to control.
Surface finishing services
Surface finishing services for tubes, beams and plates are shot blasting and priming. A product which has been shot blasted and primed is clean and easy to treat in the customer’s end processes. A shot blasted product also facilitates the customer’s further processes, such as welding and painting.
Slitting and cut-to-length
In Ruukki’s slitting and cut-to-length process, end-products are cut from coil material up to 18 metres in length. Excellent flatness in high-strength steels. Levelling is no longer needed later in machine building processes.

We supply ready-to-weld components produced from coil rolled sheet e.g. for containers, tipper bodies and trailers. The large, thin sheets are bent at Ruukki’s steel service centre before delivery to the customers for assembly.

Laser welding
Sawing
Tubes and profiles are sawn to dimensions required by the customer. Cutting can be either straight or at the desired angle. Main applications are construction and the engineering industry.
