Welding automation increases cost efficiency, repeatability and quality

Ruukki's manufacturing sites utilise 24 welding robots in ten factories. The robots are equipped with different types of manipulators that allow automatic welding from small (< 500 kg) cubical work pieces up to heavier and longer work pieces (< 10000 kg, < 12 m).

Programming, fixture design and manufacturing can be done alone by us or in co-operation with customers.

Superior machine capacity

Our competitive edge is derived from an extensive range of machinery utilised to process a wide range of products: including products up to 80 tonnes in weight and 30 metres in length. We have about 20 major machines at six plants.

Sophisticated surface treatment

Finishing is part of our core processes:

High-solid wet paint systems (low VOC content)
Water borne paint systems
Electro phoretic dip painting, including zinc phosphating and powder coating

We have five wet paint shops in different countries for finishing medium-sized and large components.

Painted products can weigh up to 40 tonnes and be as much as 20 metres in length.
