Technical delivery conditions
Technical delivery conditions are recommended to be agreed case by case - EN 10162 cold-rolled steel sections (when applicable).

All measurements to verify the cross-sectional shape shall be carried out at least 500 mm from the ends of the cold-rolled profiles (EN 10162).
Steel grades
Standard steel grade S355J2C+N according to EN10025-2.
Other steel grades according to standards:
- EN 10025-3, normalised rolled weldable fine grain structural steels
- EN 10025-4, thermomechanically rolled weldable fine grain structural steels
- EN 10149-2, thermomechanically rolled high yield strength steels for cold forming

Order & delivery
Ruukki’s trapezoidal sections are customised for each application and they are manufactured to the desired length.
A dimensionally accurate trapezoidal section forms a closed cross-section with the deck, which makes surface treatment easy. The high accuracy level also means easier and less welding at the engineering works, which translates into clear savings in production costs.
