Certified partner programme for special steel products

Ruukki’s Certified Partner Programme (CPP) is a network of Ruukki’s distribution partners, which provide the best selection of Ruukki special steel products and services on the market, to the benefit of the end users.

The target of the programme is to raise the level of expertise of the selected distribution companies for special steel products. It offers mutual benefits for both parties: in return for providing partners with marketing cooperation, technical support and training, Ruukki gains increasingly more knowledge about end-customer needs and wishes. In this way, the end customers benefit from more suitable products and better service.

At the moment, the community includes members both in Europe and emerging market countries. Ruukki has been working together with many of the partners for a few years and now the cooperation has been formalized through certification.

Blanchard Oxycoupage, France

Blanchard is a family business that specialises in trading and machining steel to customer wishes. Blanchard also keeps steel stocks, which include Optim and Raex special steels.

Most of the company’s customers are local ones from western France. A large share of net sales comes from companies that use steel for maintenance, spare part and repair work. In other words, the need is for fairly small volumes of steel at a time. The company also makes parts for manufacturers of agricultural, mining and recycling machinery, as well as for companies in the lifting, handling and transportation sector.
